Peasant Levys, Recruits, and Rabble should be avoided if at all possible (sometimes they are the only option when running low on currency) as most players will have no trouble breaking through their very limited defense. Beyond that, there are a total of four playable maps with large army sizes, and team damage is on, so organization and conservative play are as important as ever.ĭeciding which class to pick mainly depends on play style and team composition, with each faction sporting its own units from the base game. Much like Skirmish Mode, players have the option to select from several different classes, each of which carries different costs and can be paid for using the currency earned in playing the multiplayer game. That has all changed here, though, as long-standing calls for a large-scale, individual life battle mode have been answered.
While the single-player version of the game has been well-maintained since its release, the multiplayer has gone somewhat under the radar. The arrival of Battle Mode has been long in the making.
